Note from heiter founder & editor-in-chief Katharina:

“It's been quite a journey for heiter. New Beginnings, heiter issue 1, allowed me to step into and explore the indie publishing market. It allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and fulfill the long-held dream of holding my own print publication in my hands. It opened up the avenue for Homecoming, heiter issue 2, which then supported me in finding home—not just in the industry but also in my creative, brand, and personal journey. Thanks to Homecoming, I can now focus on growth. I can enjoy the blossoms that have emerged from planting seeds a few years ago, and I'd love to celebrate that with Blooming, heiter issue 3. Blooming will also be a nod to the heiter pilot version, The floral issue/Die blumige Ausgabe. I first had the idea for the pilot version in late 2015, just after I overcame burnout.”

The issue features 96 pages of carefully selected articles, editorials, interviews, photography, illustrations, essays and recipes as well as poetry and a short story that all tie in with the theme.

We are incredibly grateful to the creatives who have shared their work and reflections on Blooming, no matter if it's in family and home life, career, creativity, relationships and the area of wellbeing.

The contributors include writer and artist Tamzin Merivale, writer Veronica Ferrari, writer and emotions coach Claire Fitzsimmons, photographer Elisabeth Grindmayer of The Slow Season, sleep coach and bestselling author Monica Le Baron, interior stylist and author Emily Chalmers, somatic coach and menopause guide Rachel Grant, photographer Kriss MacDonald, writer Laura McMahon, illustrator Bryony Moss and more.
